Firstly, today is my dad's birthday so -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! 

I'm now the proud mumma of Xena, my Border Collie puppy!! She arrived on Tuesday, so be prepared for an overload of photos! I spent the week puppy proofing my house; writing, proofreading and editing assignments; watching Gilmore Girls; and trying to force (and fail at getting) myself back into a workout routine.

Monday August 15th: 

I've started doing this thing the past week, where I wake up really early and watch Gilmore Girls before I start my day.

I begun work on all five assignments that I have due on Friday at about 8pm on Monday... I rewarded myself with a break (some chocolate and coffee) at around 8.50pm, so I only saw fit to take a photo at the same time :-)

Thursday August 18th: 

I feel like I'm already posting too many puppy photos... But this really is what my week consisted of - rushing through assignments due tomorrow with a helper by my side :-)

Friday August 19th: 

A trip into the city for stat. and earning meetings meant a trip to get a doughtnut -- still trying to rush through those assignments!

Saturday August 20th: 
I adulted Saturday morning - bought a new printer, some new home furnishings and some groceries.
Then spent the afternoon with family.

Sunday August 21st: 

Sunday morning spent with this cutie!

After church, Aila and I headed to mine to grab Xena and take for a play date.

Aila couldn't wait for Xena to get out of the car before playing with her :-)

Safe to say, the kids wore her out!
