Canberra is such a beautiful little city. Little background info for those of you who aren't Australian -- Canberra is the capital city of Australia. It's where our Parliament House and Prime Minister are, and all things politics happen here. Two of my closest friends from high school, Holly & Cara, have moved here for university and I got to come down for 5 nights this week to spend time with them. This is a long post because I wanted to add so many photos!!

Monday July 25th:

| Night time flight to Canberra :-) |
Tuesday July 26th:

| Woke up nice and early and went to my favourite Canberra cafe for breakfast. |

| Went for the bircher muesli |
 |
| Cara, Holly and I went to Koko Black for chocolate treats and beautiful hot chocolates. |
 |
| We went back to Holly's and made tacos for dinner.... |
 |
| ... Before cramming onto Holly's bed and watching the Masterchef Finale. |
Wednesday July 27th:
 |
| Holly had an 11am class, so we walked to a cute little cafe between her apartment and her uni campus and grabbed a late breakfast. |
 |
| Holly and I parted ways while she went to class and I took a detour through a little park on the way back home. |
 |
| In between uni and work, Holly joined me for lunch at this groovy Japanese place next to her apartment. |
 |
| I grabbed a (few) coffee(s) while working on some blog stuff :-) |
 |
| Had drinks and dinner with Aidan, Cara and Holly at my favourite dinner restaurant in Canberra - Akiba. |
 |
| Then we made a 20-minute walk for some delicious ice cream!! |
 |
| The walk was totally worth it!! |
 |
| Breakfast with Cara, while Holly was at uni. |
 |
| Pour over coffee is my favourite! |
 |
| We made a trip up the Telstra Tower to look at the awesome views of Canberra. |
 |
| Being so far away from Holly & Cara sucks :-( |
 |
| Took many selfies using the groovy Snapchat filters. |

Friday July 29th:

| Finally left Holly's apartment at 12.45pm to venture out for greasy food. |

| Holly was a little excited for a greasy burger. |
 |
| Holly and I ended the night at these awesome cinemas with reclining, comfy, leather chairs watching The Legend of Tarzan -- AWESOME MOVIE! |
Saturday July 30th:

| Coffee at a super arty little cafe with Holly and Cara for my last morning in Canberra. |
 |
| TY to these 2 gals for driving me around while being in Canberra. |
 |

| Such a beautiful city! |

| We walked through the gardens beside the National Museum. |

| Time to go home :-( |
Sunday July 31st:

| My favourite way to start the day: drinking a coffee, reading one of my latest fave magazines/journals and working on my blog. |

| And my favourite way to end a Sunday: home from a dinner and movie with Meg, had a super hot shower, into pyjamas with a hot cup of tea :-) |
