Meet Kristina.

Recently, a friend of mine (Kristina) made blog. The content she is producing is stuff that I believe should be more publicised and well-known. So I thought I'd do my best to get her blog out there in the 'blogging world' :))
Below is a mini questionnaire that Kristina answered for you guys -- be nice, and her blog is linked at the bottom

How old are you this year?
I was 22 in January, tbh I still feel 16 (still look it too!)

How are you spending your year? Studying? Travelling? Exploring?
Unfortunately staying in my hometown studying; let’s hope I don’t spend all my money on makeup and actually save for a trip to the UK to visit family at the end of the year.

What is one place where you feel most comfortable/relaxed?
My bed, hands down is my sanctuary. Give me my bed, Netflix, a rainy night & some candles, and I’m so content.

What is your favourite book of all time? Why?
Is it too cliche to say the bible?
Tbh I haven’t read a full like ‘novel’ book since I was 16.
The bible is where I get my tank filled up again (if that’s the right saying), when I sit and read it of a morning I feel as though I can have the strength to get through the day and that I’m not doing this life alone, I have my best friend, Jesus, right beside me.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
You can do anything if you put your mind to it.

What is one piece of advice you’d give you 16-year-old self?
Be confident in who you are. I wasted too much of my teenage life trying to be like everyone around me, once I left school I truly feel that is when I started actually being who I am, yes I’m still learning who I am (as we all are), but I definitely don’t try so hard to ‘fit in’ anymore.

Name three things that make you happy:
 1. My faith
2. My friends and family
3. Makeup (I had to put at least one selfish thing in right?!)

Where is your dream holiday destination? And who would you take with you?
Oh my gosh this is so hard, I have so many places I want to go. Probably somewhere like the Maldives or Bora Bora, you know with the cabins (or massive houses) over the crystal clear water, what a dream. Definitely for my honeymoon!

What is one thing that you have done in your life, that you never thought you would?
Go to uni; literally in high school that was the last thing I ever wanted to do. I never liked studying at all. Now I’ve been studying ever since I left.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you were older?
This is kind of embarrassing, but in like a cute little kid way? When I was four, it must have been around the time I first watched the Little Mermaid and because I have red hair, I used to tell everyone I wanted to be Ariel.

You’ve just started a blog, what were your reasons for that?
I first actually started a vlogging channel on YouTube, simply because I wanted to have a creative space to express myself with a community of people with the same interest. I watch a fair bit, *cough*, a lot of YouTube in my spare time and it’s always been something I wanted to do. So I tried it and found I just wasn’t being consistent, so I thought I’d try blogging. I’ve found I can actually express myself so much better through writing than through talking (yr 11 Kristina would not agree #amostfailedenglish). So I guess you could say I kinda accidentally found my love for blogging haha.

What are the main topics you will address over on your blog?
My faith, beauty and general lifestyle topics.

Finally, where can we check out your blog?
heartofanovice.wixsite.com/blog

much love,
XO
