Where To Now?!?

Monday, September 21, 2015

So I mentioned in Saturday's post that I drove my car back up from Hobart and thought that I would take the time in today's post to explain why and what's happening from here since I've kept you updated thus far. I've semi moved back home for the rest of this semester. When I say semi I mean I will be flying down to Hobart to attend university lectures/tutorial/workshops/exams each week until the end of semester (end of October) and will then re-evaluate what I am going to do next year. I have quite a few options that I'm still trying to choose from.

I could stay at university for the next two years and complete my Bachelor of Arts and Law. That would mean that at the end of 2017 I will graduate university with a double degree in Art (Literary Theory/Linguistics) and Law. That means I have three options; living in Hobart and attending university internally, continuing to study through the same university but becoming an external student and studying online, or applying for a transfer and moving to a closer university. OR indecisive me could choose to study something completely different. I haven't really figured out the whole studying thing yet and I possibly never will... maybe it's not for me?!

As another option, I am at a point in my life where I could move overseas and work/study abroad. Now, I didn't last in Hobart that long but it wasn't really about moving back to my family and friends but more that I never found my purpose in Hobart and also, there are/were so many reasons that I needed to be  home (meetings, work things, etc.) that it just became annoying and inconvenient that I lived in a different state. I know, I know... BUT WHAT IF YOU LIVED IN ANOTHER COUNTRY!!! Well, I'm lucky enough that my job is offered in many other countries around the world and I have the support system and people that will move with me.

My final option that I'm weighing up at the moment is something that I was given the opportunity to do about this time last year, but because I was in my final year of high school just wasn't an option for me. And that's to become a full time writer and take my blog to "the next level". That means continuing writing more and more and because of all of you lovely readers I have the opportunity to take my blog more "international" rather than it being very Australian based.

I'll continue to ponder and keep all of you lovely people updated, until then,

Enjoy your week!
