What I Did Wednesday: 23.09.2015.

Today was one of those days that I would prefer not to remember, but I did promise that I would stick to the schedule and that means no matter what happens on my Wednesday I'll be documenting it. It was somewhat one of those "boring adult" days. I had to wake up around 5.30am just so that I could get everything done today and it was a little stressful. It was a day full of appointments, errands, catching up and packages being delivered to the house. I woke up a little earlier than I had to so that I could go for a quick (30 minute) run. Afterwards, I came home and made breakfast. I've always been that person who didn't eat breakfast but my personal trainer is insisting it.

Once I came home, I began feeling sick. I use italics because it wasn't like I was coming down with a cold, more coming down with an anxiety attack. I had an appointment with my psych. today so I knew it wouldn't do too much harm if I just pushed it aside and didn't let it interrupt my morning. WRONG! In the middle of getting ready for the day I had a mild panic attack... GRRRR, I thought I'd finished panic attacks for a while... WRONG. 
Anyway, to match how I was feeling I went with black on black on black. 
I was feeling a lot more refreshed after my psych. appointment and I was ready to tackle the rest of the day. I went to the hardware store and bought a heap of "boring adult" things: blinds, rugs, curtains, etc. And to destress, went to early lunch with Sasha in the hinterlands. 
This calamari salad with chilli and lime dressing was amazing!
The rest of my afternoon wasn't very planned. I had some packages being delivered to the house and then had a quick coffee catch up with Anemice and Cara. 
I feel like I did a lot of driving today. 
Every night I go to the gym to workout and end the day. It allows me to take a deep breath and put everything to the side for a moment while I have some time to myself; it's incredibly relaxing. 
I've spent far too much time here recently trying to escape the real world.
It's now 9pm and I have a 6am gym session tomorrow morning so I'm off to bed.
