The Weekly Bit.

I'm not going to do introductions for these anymore - I explain everything under each day so I feel like it's just wasting words! :-)
Monday Feb 22:
The perfect way to start off the week - an Acai bowl with loads of fruit and an iced coffee from my favourite cafe. Again, I did some more retail therapy and bought a few things to wear for university. I had a lot of work phone calls during the day, which wasn't that much fun... But got to end the day with a very good workout!!!

Tuesday Feb 23:
I felt like I spent the majority of Tuesday in my car driving... I woke up at 5am and went to the gym for a workout with Sasha, and then came home and had my current favourite meal - quinoa rice cakes with avocado, salt and pepper!!! I'm not going to lie, once I came home from the gym and had breakfast I fell asleep and slept for another 2 hours. I picked up my friend Bree and we headed to university to have a quick look around for O Week (O Week stands for Orientation Week and is basically a week where every university in Australia has stalls [where you can sign up for different sports, teams, clubs, etc.], parties [basically a sad excuse to get drunk and make mistakes] and a bunch of things to help make friends). We walked around campus, grabbed some free things and a coffee and then headed home again. I had to go and pick up some family from the airport. And spent the evening with Sasha having dinner and seeing Zoolander 2 - no comment on that movie... it's very odd.

Wednesday Feb 24:
Slowly getting back into the university routine... That meant waking up at 6am and going for (my pathetic attempt of) a run - I did more interval stuff... 2 minute walk, 10 minute run and repeat 6 times. Then back home for breakfast (coconut yoghurt with almonds and a banana) and Grey's Anatomy - I finally finished season 5!! Then back to O Week at university for a few information sessions on secondary education and phonetics/linguistics (which are my majors...)

Thursday Feb 25:
I'm sorry that no blog post went up on Thursday, I'll explain why in a few sentences. Spent the morning in Brisbane, having a lovely breakfast overlooking the entire city from Paddington. I had to drive back home because I coach a Grade 10 debating team at my old high school, and had my first meeting of the year with them today to discuss debate structures, brainstorm for the upcoming debate and begin writing speeches. I spent an hour or so talking to my wonderful high school drama teacher and catching up - she's the funnest company and such a funny and kind hearted person! At 3pm I had a doctors appointment for some follow up scans and tests because I've been having headaches now for about 18-22 months and I finally realised that I should get them checked out. That's why this week has been a little stressful and there wasn't a post up on Thursday - I was just a little overwhelmed by having to get more tests and scans... Still don't know what's wrong but I'll keep you posted :-)

Friday Feb 26:
Blegh. Somehow I've contracted some annoying cold, so I spent the morning in bed with vegetable soup and lots and lots of water. That always seems to make me feel a lot better. I had a doctors appointment around lunchtime. Afternoon catch up with Anemice makes everything better :-)
Friday felt like my last day of freedom for the next 13 weeks because university officially starts next week. I went and bought a few new books, but apart from that just tried to recover and get rid of this stupid cold.

Saturday Feb 27:
Errands. Errands. Errands. All freaking day!! Luckily I got to spend the night in a beautiful penthouse at Q1, which made up for my somewhat stressful week...

Sunday Feb 28:
Sigh. Back to the real world next week - university starts for the year... I'm looking on the bright side, in 5 weeks I'll be back in the beautiful Hobart for a few days and in 13 weeks the semester will be done and I'll be on my way to Seattle for a month!
