Insomnia.
Monday, August 03, 2015Insomnia. It's not something I've talked about on the Internet, but it something I get asked on Tumblr. Probably because I'm constantly reblogging at all hours of the day! Insomnia is something that has been mildly prominent in my life since I was around 10 or 11, or at least that's when I can remember. I've been told that it is highly likely that it's associated with my anxiety and my insomnia is always worse when I am more anxious. It is definitely something that has become more prevalent in the last month since living so far from my parents and trying to stay on top of my university assignments.
There isn't much that I've discovered will help it. Except closing my eyes with a pillow over my head and clearing all of my thoughts; it still doesn't really do anything but it's a lot better than me scrolling through Tumblr or Pinterest. Lots and lots of cups of tea can sometimes help, but I really need to learn to clear my thoughts before I go to bed. And to stop feeling so anxious!!!!!!!!
