Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MUMMA!! [Today, April 4th, is my mum's birthday!]
I hope you all had a sensational week, I had a pretty quiet beginning to the week and spent the end of the week in Hobart!!!!
Monday 28th March:
I went for my horrible run this morning; about a total of 15km all up - 5km there, 2.5km km up and then 2.5km back down a mountain and 5km back - it's a killer!! I came home and had a lovely shower before heading down to Brisbane with Katie to have dumplings, doughnuts and do a little bit of shopping. I love spending time with her; she never fails to make me laugh and is such a beautiful person!
The. Best. Doughnuts. Ever!
The extravagant Doughnut Time donuts!
Tuesday 29th March:
I had a somewhat stressful, chaotic and emotional roller coaster of a morning but it was all made better by spending the afternoon with Meg and going to see Batman Vs. Superman with her!!

Wednesday 30th March:
With mum's birthday on April 4th, she had told me about a year ago that she wanted to spend her birthday in Hobart doing a few hikes (and some shopping, of course!). So I did my best to make it happen!! Luckily, her birthday coincided with Easter/Mid Semester Break at university this year which meant that we could spend 5 nights in Hobart.
Back in my natural habitat! Hobart will always feel like home to me and always hold a special place in my heart. [For those of you who are new, I lived here for a university semester last year and I still have my place down in Hobart.]

I've missed my beautiful bedroom view of Hobart's harbour.
Thursday 31st March:
Went for a lovely stroll through the Sandy Bay Gardens on our way to breakfast.
Half way to the top!
Finally made it to the top!
Definitely the best way to end the day!!
Friday 1st April:
Had to start my morning at one of my favourite little cafe's in Sandy Bay area, called Brew.
This is (in my opinion) the best restaurant in Hobart!! It's in Salamanca Place and is called Smolt; they do fantastic pizza and pasta dishes as well as a bunch of tapas and great wine! This was my awesome DIY vodka, lime and soda - they gave me a shot of vodka, can of soda water and a mini plate of cut up lime!
Stroll back home after dinner.
Saturday 2nd April:
Just constantly drinking coffee...
Went for a mini hike through Mt Field National Park - it snowed on us!!!
My mumma!
The scenery was adorable and felt very enchanted!
