Hong Kong: Traveling & Day 1

Thursday, January 07, 2016

Hello there!!! And welcome to 2016!! I trust that everyone had an amazing Christmas and New Year (or whatever you choose to celebrate). Much apologies for the lack of content recently but I have spent the past month travelling to different places and catching up on some much needed me time (and I must admit, it's very odd to be blogging right now; I've missed it!!). From December 29 2015 - January 6th 2016 I took a mini vacation over to Hong Kong!! I've decided that instead of uploading it all in one blog post, because I have SO many photos, I'll be uploading 4 posts over the next 4 days. [I am still in the process of figuring out my schedule (both blogging and life) so I will be posting quite sporadically until I figure that out...
29th and 30th of December.
Flying from Brisbane to Hong Kong - thank God for direct flights.
I landed quite late on Tuesday night, so it was an hour taxi ride to my hotel and straight to bed.
The first official day in Hong Kong; Wednesday. This was the view from Victoria Peak of the entire city... Hong Kong has over 125 buildings that have more than 16 floors. And anyone who has been to Hong Kong will tell you it's not a very big city!!
A boat ride along the Victoria Harbour is really fun when you get sea sickness very easily - luckily I distracted myself by looking at this amazing floating restaurant.
The only way to this restaurant is by water taxi.
The middle of the main street of Central.
