Hello! Happy Weekend!!

I'm finally in the swing of university, which means I have been able to sit down and plan out the next few months blogging schedule to fit in with assignments. It's Semester Two of university so again, I'm taking four subjects. Mini Update: I have decided to change from a major and minor (which is what I was doing in Semester One) to a double major. I am completing a double major in English and Journalism and am hoping to go into the journalism/writing/editing industry once I complete my course in 2017. Meaning that this semester my subjects are: English, Journalism, Gender and Writing Short Fiction. My assignment for short fiction is f#*king amazing!!!!! It's to write a short story (obvs). It doesn't sound like anything super exciting but that's right up my alley and I had a little (internal) jump for joy when I read the assignment outline. 

So, as for blogging. I only have lectures and tutorials one day a week (Tuesday). As well as trying to find time for blogging and university I am flying home (to Brisbane) quite a lot within the next few months meaning I will have some posts that will be prescheduled so I don't miss a day. I've tried really hard over the past year or so to stick to some kind of blogging schedule but it just hasn't been happening. I'm making a promise to myself (and you guys) to stick to this schedule. It will only be in place until the end of semester (October/November) and then we will reevaluate. 

I will be uploading to Unorthodox Simplicity on a Monday, Thursday and Saturday for the next few months.
