I've finally moved!!!
After what feels like almost a year (actually 3 months) of planning and waiting for the day to come, I've finally moved to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. If you're not from Australia but you've seen the Pitch Perfect movies then that's probably how you've heard of it - by Rebel Wilson making fun at the state - if you are from Australia, yep you heard me right, I moved to Tasmania, not away from Tasmania. Reasons why? #1 University. #2 When else can I pack up my things and move across the country. #3 You're not my mother and can't tell me what to do!! I make my own decisions now and have to deal with each and every consequence that comes with doing that. Here's a few photos from my first week as a Hobartian? Tasmanian? Am I classified as a local? Or am I still just that Queenslander living in Tasmania for a while? Side Note: the first question anyone asks is "are you from the mainland?" - for those who don't know Tasmania is an island state off the coast of mainland Australia. Is it easier if I just find a photo from Google to explain?
