I'm only 19, therefore don't feel very 'adult' often... But I thought I'd share with you a short list I have compiled for when I feel most like an adult.

Here's that list:

When I'm driving to have lunch with friends in the middle of the day, knowing that kids are at school. 

When I make the spontaneous decision to take a week off of life and travel to Seattle.

When I get called m'am or miss by someone.

When I wear red lipstick.

When I wear winged eyeliner.

When I pay a house bill.

When I have a glass of wine with lunch.

When I see my therapist.

When I walk past someone I went to school with and remember how long ago it was since I last saw them.

Drinking on a school night.

Coming home to an empty house.
