Weekly Bit.

Safe to say, uni got the better of me this week and this post totally skipped my mind until now - 8pm on Sunday night - just under 10 hours until this is being uploaded! This week wasn't overly exciting because it was the week before uni mid semester break so it was just a rush of assignments to get complete and a lot of time spent in bed reflecting and thinking about life, in general. Next week I promise will be better because it's not only mid semester break (so I have the week off uni) but mum and I are going to Hobart for a few days to celebrate her birthday!!

I hope you all had an awesome week and thank you so much for sticking by me (and my blog) these past few weeks/months while I'm getting everything together :-) you're the bomb.com

Monday 21st March:
Monday was very much a mediocre travelling day! Anemice and I had separate flights home from Canberra - I had a stop over in Melbourne and she had a direct flight to Brisbane. I was super lonely on the plane, however because I was alone I did a lot of uni assignments!
Pretty plane view!!
Nerding out on the plane...
Tuesday 22nd March:
Tuesday's always feel like university is taking over! I'm there from 12pm - 7pm (my longest day at uni) and it just mentally drains me... *poor Emma*

Wednesday 23rd March:
I got to have a sleep in/sit in my bed and watch Netflix because I didn't have classes until 2pm. I have to say, having that lie in was one of the best moments of my week. In case you've missed the past few (hundred) posts or are new to The Simple Emma (in which case, welcome!!!) I've been a little down recently, so having time to myself is the best! #HermitMode After my relaxing morning it was off to my History lecture/tutorial, where I basically just pretend to take notes and listen because I find the class incredibly boring... Wednesday night's are debating nights so it was down to Brisbane to watch/support Meg's Year 11 team debate - they won! Yay!

Thursday 24th March:

Another boring, mediocre day. Anemice and I hung out - as always :D - I had a few exams at uni (fingers crossed I pass) and I had my education lecture at 6pm... UGH. At least that meant the end of my university week and I now have holidays for a week!!

Friday 25th March:

It was a very Good Friday (pun intended). I spent the day with my mumma, which was super nice! We sat at my favourite cafe for a few hours and caught up, since we hadn't seen each other in a few weeks and then drove up the coast for lunch and did some exploring/looked at pretty views.

Saturday 26th March:
My house has become a mess since I went back to uni! Because I've been so stressed with the combination of trying to finish assignments, studying for exams, travelling and hermit-ing I've sort of let the whole being a successful adult with a clean house thing slide... I did the mundane tasks of vacuuming, mopping and a general tidy of my house before a few days of relaxing and catching up with friends and 6 days with mum in Hobart to celebrate her birthday!! (<< that will be in next week's Weekly Bit)

Sunday 27th March:
Happy Easter!! I don't really celebrate holidays anymore because I just prefer to hermit at home by myself. But Meg dragged me out of the house and to Church for Easter Sunday. After that it was back home to hermit and begin the packing for Hobart!
These rugrats are adorable!!
