Canberra, Australia.

As I've mentioned in my last 2 posts, Anemice and I flew to Canberra for a long weekend to visit Holly and Cara. Here is a few photos from everyday of what we did. I'd never really been to Canberra before (only stoping for one night when I drove to Hobart) so it was really nice to get to see the city, along with spending time with the girls! We visited some super cool buildings, did some shopping and went to a lot of nice restaurants!

Be prepared for quite a lot of photos, so maybe grab yourself a cup of tea before perusing :-)

DAY 1
At the airport!!
BNE - CBR
Holly, myself and Anemice - ty to the kind stranger who took this photo
Awesome dinner at a Japanese tapas bar, Akiba!!
A pitcher of margarita at Honkytonks.
Back to our hotel for more drinks...
DAY 2
Let's just say that after the night before, this was definitely needed!
Obviously you need to take a selfie in front of Parliament House!
Parliament House :-)
We went to a suitcase rummage but ended up sitting and listening to a DJ in a caravan by the lake.
TY to Aidan for taking this happy snap.
I don't like that we're separated by 1300km.
Finally Cara makes an appearance in the photos.
Thanks to another kind stranger for taking this photo of us on top of Mt Ainslie.
I made everyone go to the National Library of Australia. Of course I had to buy a Penguin Book bag and a Jane Austen novel...
Change of outfits for Sky Fire (Canberra's firework festival thing). It got very, very, very cold!!!
View from Riverside Foreshore.
DAY 3
Sunday Breakfast at The Cupping Room.
At breakfast.
Walking around Canberra CBD.
Anemice and I went on an adventure to the National Gallery of Australia.
This wall made me happy!
More art.
I'm so proud of this gorgeous girl for making the big move down to Canberra for university!!
Anemice and I shared yet another pitcher of margarita at HonkyTonks...
A very groovy little bar called Akiba. And yes, it's the same place we went the other night too - it's that good!
The groovy sign for the bar!
Smirnoff Black... Was it such a good idea?! We almost finish the entire bottle (probably 2 shots left) between 5 of us while playing Never Have I Ever and King's Cup (drinking games)...
DAY 4
After the night before, this breakfast was a must!! This was our last meal in Canberra before heading to the airport.  The Chopping Room is one of my new favourites cafes!! They have quite a wide variety of food to choose from and a great atmosphere!
The weekend was so much fun and just the break from reality I needed! I've cleared my head over the weekend and had some time to put myself back together and continue on with life ;-) I'll be back to my regular uploads from now on (I hope)! Thanks for your patience!!!
