I've spent the past 18 days in the United States (in Seattle, Washington) and have re-fallen in love with the country, more specifically Seattle. Don't get me wrong, I love travelling and exploring different countries and cultures but I loved the experience of staying with friends (my American family). I got to experience the not so traditional tourist spots and lived like apart of the family. [BACKGROUND STORY: I went and stayed with this family on a hosting exchange with my high school for a week in January of 2014. We got along so well and I fit into their family so well that we've kept in contact almost daily ever since and so I decided to go back and see them for a few weeks. They are people that I definitely call family and they call me one of their children. I love them.]
For the "weekly loves" this week, I thought I'd do an appreciation post of my amazing American family who are the most welcoming people I've ever met.
