How I Get Ready for University
Thursday, May 12, 2016A change of pace for once. I'm going to start incorporating more posts like this because they seem to be quite loved by all of you :-) !! I don't put much effort into getting ready when I'm going to university because all I'm going there to try and learn something, write down a bunch of notes, probably drink a coffee and then go back home to work on either an assignment or work stuff. So, I figured I'd do a photo post of what I put on my face before I go to university / what I wear most days when I can't really be bothered to make a huge effort but still want to look somewhat presentable - emphasis on somewhat. I've linked everything in the captions of the photo, so that if you're interested in a product it's easier to find.
Enjoy!

Yes, I am aware that this is a men's product but it was proven by the YouTuber, NikkieTutorials - link here - that it doubles as an awesome makeup primer. It's the Nivea Men Post Shave Balm and since I started using it about 2-3 months ago I haven't used anything else! |

I've been trying out the L'Oreal Cushion Foundation and applying it with a Real Techniques version of the BeautyBlender and am enjoying it for now. After using this sponge applicator, since November 2015, I haven't used anything else to apply foundation - it's awesome! |

After I apply my foundation, I use my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer to not only conceal the crazy dark circles under my eyes, but also highlight parts of my face. And I set that all with Maybelline Matte Maker Powder, using the Real Techniques Brush. |

Then onto the eye area - I use an Artiste Brow Brush and attempt to tame my brows, then in with the Essence Eyebrow Kit (using the darkest shade) to fill in my brows. Then a quick cat eye, with my Maybelline HyperSharp liquid eyeliner and then apply Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara to my top lashes. |

To finish everything, I've been using the W7 highlighter (honestly, just to finish it and remove it from my makeup collection) to highlight my cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow and brow bone. A Revlon Liquid Matte Lipcolour, so I feel put together - this one was the shade: ADDICTION. And then finishing off with a NYX setting spray so that my makeup stays in place all day! |
