I came across a list of 100 Words of Wisdom (yes, on Pinterest) this morning from a teacher to his students. They are practical pieces of advice, make a lot of sense and have a sense of humour. Instead of boring you with all 100, I thought I would mention my favourites.

• There are plenty of ways to enter a pool. The stairs is not one of them.
• Never cancel dinner plans by text message. 
• When entrusted with a secret, keep it. 
• Don't dumb yourself down. 
• You only get one chance to notice a new haircut. 
• Expect the seat in front of you to recline. Prepare accordingly.
• Be mindful of what comes between you and Earth. Always buy good sheets, tires and shoes. 
• It's never too late for an apology. 
• Don't pose with alcohol. It's unbecoming. 
• Suck it up every now and then. 
• Stand up to bullies. You only have once to do it. 
• Admit it when you're wrong.
• Always thank the bus driver.
• Know at least one good joke. 
• Be a good listener. Don't just take your turn to talk. 
• Be kind. Everyone has a hard fight ahead of them.
• Never call someone before 9am or after 9pm.
• Make the little things count. 
• Always wear a bra to work.
• There is a fine line between looking sultry and slutty. Find it.
• Ladies, if you make the decision to wear heels on the first date commit to keeping them on and keeping your mouth shut about how much your feet hurt. 
• Smile at strangers.
• Make goals.
• If you have to fight, punch first and punch hard.

I know it may seem like I have been mentioning a lot of 'inspirational' posts of late but it's because I have been more aware of them :-) I haven't been actively looking for them, I guess in whatever way they've found me and I am utterly grateful. I have never really been into these sorts of things (inspirational messages or quotes) but something recently has just been telling me to open my mind to them. They are wonderful. Exquisite. Unique. Personal. Amazing.
