It's 8.22pm on Saturday (July 16th) and for the first time in (way) over a month, I am sitting in my own bed before 10pm; alone; with a cup of tea; in my robe; and surrounded by candles. This is what I dream of. I don't think I could even begin to express how magical this feels!!!



Yup, there probably should be a Weekly Bit uploaded... But, after getting home from America last Sunday I started a full week of prac teaching. And when I say 'a full week of prac teaching', I mean, I literally did nothing else all week!! In between waking up early enough to shower, eat breakfast and get to school ready to start work on time; constructing lesson plans filled with teaching strategies, learning goals, methods and activities for up to four, 70 minute lessons a day; logging my observations, reflections and teaching strategies for each day (for university submission) and some how finding time for sleep and dinner - it took me until Thursday night to unpack my suitcase (after landing the previous Sunday)... As for next week, aside from a meeting or two, a prac teaching debrief and a few errands to run, I have the week to relax before uni starts back for semester two next week (July 25th). So I promise to get my blogging organised over the next week and I'll be on top of everything --- I hope. I guess this is the real life of a teenager/uni student - busy, hectic and all over the place...
