I’m beginning to lack inspiration… I knew these “Weekly Loves” on a Saturday would become difficult, I just didn’t realise how quickly and how difficult - I might think of something somewhat creative before next Saturday.
Last weekend I saw the movie Crimson Peak (staring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain and Tom Hiddleston [*SWOON*]). The movie was directed by Guillermo del Toro and written by Guillermo del Toro and Matthew Robbins. The movie is visually beautiful and incredibly captivating. I really don't want to give anything away, so this is going to be a short (and probably pointless) blog post but I just really want everyone to go and experience this movie. I would say there are 3 main characters (or possibly 1 [Edith] and 2 main supporting characters [Lucille and Thomas). Basically: Edith's father dies, Edith and Thomas get married, Thomas and Lucille are brother and sister, Edith moves into Lucille and Thomas' house, there are lots of ghosts, blood reference and creepy noises. I did a terrible job of explaining one of the greatest movies I've ever seen but I didn't want to spoil anything so GO WATCH IT.
