As you probably saw in Monday's Weekly Bit, I went to Sydney last week. I know I uploaded some photos, but I thought I'd upload some footage that my boyfriend took.
If you’ve followed my blog for any period of time, you could probably assume that I love to travel. I prefer to spend my money on flights and accomodation than expensive items of furniture or the latest shoes and handbags. That’s purely because I’m an experience person. I’ve always been the girl who would prefer to have a day at the zoo or exploring a new town. Traveling opens your eyes to the world and allows you to see a glimpse of what’s happening around you.
“I urge you to travel. As far and as much as possible.
Work ridiculous shifts to save your money. Go without the latest iPhone. Throw yourself out of your comfort zone. Find out how other people live and realize that the world is a much bigger place than the town you live in.
And when you come home, home may still be the same. And yes, you may go back to the same old job, but something in you will have changed.
And trust me, that changes everything.”

I urge you all to travel as much as you possibly can.
I’ve compiled a short list of countries that I would like to visit/revisit:
As you can probably tell, there's no Weekly Bit from yesterday... That's because I only took 2 photos worth uploading onto the blog. It's coming into crazy uni time and as well as that, I've just been quite busy recently (as well as lacking creativity) so I've decided to change my upload schedule. It will be changed from Monday, Thursday & Saturday to Monday & Friday. Monday's post will remain a Weekly Bit (either in the form of photos or a video) and Friday's post will be either Monthly Favourites, City Guides or Rambles.
I hope you understand and are okay with the change - I love you all and thank you for continuing to follow my life/journey
I'm an introvert. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy socialising, it means that after a few hours I need to be by myself to re-energise. Other introverts out there will relate, but after a day socialising, there is nothing better than to come home to a cup of tea in bed.
"An introvert's desire for solitude is more than just a preference. It is crucial for our health and happiness" - M. Chung
People often mistake shyness for rudeness. I can promise that my silence is never out of judgement, but merely not knowing what to say in conversation. I'd much rather sit back and listen to the conversation before me than partake in it. When I do spark up in a large conversation, I feel painfully awkward... However, if I'm comfortable around each person (individually) in the conversation then I feel fine to join in and stop observing.
"I'm both: introvert and extrovert. I like people, but need to be alone. I'll go out, vibe, and meet new people but it has an expiration because I have to recharge. If I don't find the valuable time alone to recharge I cannot be at my highest self" - S. McNutt III
Recently, I've found myself needing a lot more time to stop and recharge. This is in no way a bad thing; in fact, it proves that I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone more and socialise. So, if blog posts are ever late or just don't get uploaded, you can probably assume I just needed some down time (or I've been swamped by uni assignments, either one).
