Week 26: What you want to be when you grow up {yes, there’s still time}.
Like many, the term what do you want to be when you grow up(?) is asked quite frequently to them throughout their teenage years. When first asked, it can seem quite a confronting and abrupt question and we are often forced to scramble and come up with some kind of a socially acceptable answer. A doctor; a teacher; a nurse; a journalist. etc.
Here's a thought I had. I went out sober last night, just so that I could drive home. I went out to dinner last night with a friend because she is currently living in Scotland, and is home for 10 days. She's been overseas for a year and so it's been forever since I've seen her!! We both had a drink at dinner, but since I was driving that was my only one for the night.
Beach, beach & food. (Yeah, I went to the beach a lot!)
Week 25: A thank you not to a 'thing'.
We're almost at the end of this series!! I think I've got the next series planned and ready to go :-) Look at me being a productive adult!!
In this week's thank you note to a thing, I would like to pay tribute to trashy TV. By that, I mean shows like Kardashians, Real Housewives and Total Divas.
I thought, because we are now half way through January, I would check in with you all on where I am in terms of sticking with my New Years' Resolutions (as well as some I may have added).
Trivia, alcohol and baking.
Week 24: Share your bad habits and why you won't ever give them up.
We're coming to the end of this series!! What are we going to start doing after this?!
I thought instead of talking about petty bad habits like biting nails, and would instead talk about something a little different. There isn't much too this post, but I figured this could just be a quick post to read while you're toast is cooking this morning ;-)

I thought it's been a while since I've done one of these frequently asked question type of posts. Here is a few questions that I get sent/asked over on my Tumblr or emails :-)
Back to normal, alcohol and pretty views.
Week 23: Something I've Lost.
Hmm... When thinking about what to write about (either some physical, mental or metaphorical) I struggled a little. I thought I would recount a few short times when I have lost my dignity. If you know me personally, this may be a post you want to leave now.
Dignity is defined, by the dictionary, as a composed or serious manner or style. To me, dignity is the state of being filled with or having quality.
I usually write these posts surrounded by clutter (whether physical or metaphorical). However, I have just had a deep cleanse of my desk/workspace and can now actually see my desk - who knew it was white?! I've also started the new year with a brand new set of sheets (I've fallen in love with Sheridan Linen sheets and thought I'd spoil myself with a new set for the new year). Alongside the new sheets I also went on a bit of a splurge in the Peter Alexander (Australian pyjama brand) and brought quite a few new pairs!! Those are the places/things I use/wear the most and they need to be the most organsied, comfortable and relaxing. That's pretty much the three words I want to be used when describing my 2017; organised, comfortable and relaxing.
I have quite a lot planned for 2017 and I am geniunly excited for the year ahead!

Hello my lovelies; welcome to 2017!! You're probably sick of everyone saying it, but can you believe how quickly 2016 went?!
As you're probably aware, instead of today's post being photos from New Zealand, I thought a vlog style would show more of my week.
I hope you've all had an incredible weekend, and don't have too much of a hangover ;-)
