It's almost summer here in Australia, and that means the sunsets are even more beautiful (and later) and the beaches are more inviting. It also means that you have more time to appreciate the outdoors (and your partner). Below are some ideas/suggestions, along with photos, of a few of my favourite dates with my boyfriend.
Breakfast at a cafe
Road trips
This photo was actually taken on a road trip back to the Sunshine Coast from Sydney, but you get the idea. Get in your car one day and take it in turns to pick which way you turn at the next intersection; who knows, you may discover a hidden gem.
Lunch at a Winery
Spontaneous Afternoons
Cooking dinner together
Glorious summer sunsets
Breakfast at a cafe
I love finding new and popular cafes around where we live to try out for breakfast. It's a good way to get out of the house early in the morning and means you have the rest of the day for more adventures.

Lunch at a Winery
This photo was taken at one of my favourite wineries and despite having only gone there once together, so far, *cough cough, Rhett*, it was one of my favourite dates.
Spontaneous Afternoons
This was the result of a very random drive. We set off from my house into the dirt roads and pine trees and came across the most beautiful little spot. Rhett flew his drone around for an hour or so and we got some very cute pictures.
Cooking dinner together
When I say "cooking dinner together", I mean Rhett is a far better cook than me and I usually just observe. And when I say Rhett "cooked" that night, I mean we had Mexican food from a kit!!
Glorious summer sunsets
One of the most beautiful things about where we live --- the spots to watch the sunsets from.

Monday 30th October:
Okay, seriously, this year is flying by!! I'm not necessarily complaining about that, but it's just insane how quickly the months are going by.
Book:
After 20 years, I finally caved in and started reading the Harry Potter novels. So far, I've only read the first one (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone).
Fashion:
I started an 8-week challenge halfway through the month of October, so I've spent a lot of the month in activewear. I love all of what I've bought so far, so here's the link to the website where I grabbed a whole bunch of new activewear from.
Music:
I've been loving Elevation Worship's new album "Acoustic Sessions". It's almost all I've listened to for the past few weeks while in my car and I'm still not over the songs. They're great to drive to, especially at 5.30am when I'm driving to a training session.
Netflix:
I've loved watching Chelsea over on Netflix. There's new episode released weekly. It's a talk show with Chelsea Handler and the topics range from politics to celeb gossip. I'm always hanging out for the next episode!
